ABOUT

OUR TIPPING FACILITY

Why use our tipping facility in Oxfordshire

Using advanced soil washing technology, we recycle a wide range of inert materials — including soil, stone, concrete, brick, ceramics, and road sweepings — into high-quality secondary aggregates. Through a combination of crushing, screening, washing, and filtration, the system efficiently recovers sand, gravel, and clay products that meet strict environmental and geotechnical standards for reuse in construction and civil engineering projects.

The facility also has a dedicated process for treating hazardous soils, including soils contaminated with Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH). This allows us to safely manage contaminated materials while recovering clean, reusable aggregates in full compliance with environmental regulations.

Operations are supported by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified management systems and extensive environmental controls, including a closed-loop water system with zero discharge to land or watercourses.

With sustainability at its core, the Dix Pit Facility diverts significant volumes of waste from landfill, reduces the demand for primary aggregates, and plays a vital role in supporting the circular economy across Oxfordshire and the surrounding region.
